Here is a bright spot for your day – i know it has been sheer delight for me!
Aren’t these little girls so adorable?! I have known their mom (Mandy Joy) pretty much my whole life & have loved all of the fun opportunities to photograph them! In an effort to make this session a little extra whimsy & special i brought some fun girlie props & told Mandy to bring anything fun & girlie she could find as well; like their adorable clothing.
At the begining of the session Lena (the youngest & usually more outgoing of the two) was all frowns, unconvincingly unhappy of course. haha & Luci (the oldest, usually more shy & needing convincing) was smiling sweetly & posing perfectly. But of course, they both warmed up more & more as we went along & just began to have a lot of fun playing around, feeling pretty & enjoying a perfect day outside.
It was so fun to watch them interact together, share all of the props & TWIRL in their pretty dresses. We stuck to a very small portion of Main Street for these & yet still somehow spent almost 2 hours taking about 1,000 photos. haha
Those “fairy sticks” (as i like to call them) were actually from a wedding i attended a few years ago – we waved them & rang bells at the reception! it was so romantically beautiful, but that’s another story. I’m so glad i brought them along, b/c the girls wanted to wave them around the whole time & they added such a fun girlie flare to the photos, don’t you think?
I’d love to do more sessions like this in the future – so realaxed & unique - no serious agenda, except to have fun & get the girls being themselves at this point in their lives to remember always.
Thanks again for letting me do these for you Mandy – it was such a treat for me!

oh, they are just so sweet! i love the ones at the end where they’re drinking (what i’m going to imagine is) milkshakes. yum! totally worth all that posing! i love the one where the older one is smiling and the younger one is frowning! ha ha! so classic!
haha YES! they were so fun to work with. there really were a lot more of Lena frowning…but i chose to play with more of the smilie ones.
The littlest one got chocolate ice cream & the older one got a chocolate shake – totally worth it. haha
I love them! I cant wait to see them all. SO Cute.
I’m not easily ipmrsesed. . . but that’s impressing me!
