Tom & Amy Harrell!!
Amy Bouselli got hitched to Tommy Harrell on Friday, April 29, 2011

This has been a much anticipated wedding!  For me as well as the bride & groom of course – they’ve been together about 5 years I think. I told Amy years ago, when I was just a pup photographer that I couldn’t wait to photograph the country wedding I knew she would have one day…sure enough, that’s just what she had!

I’ve known this darling girl since she was a baby – we were neighbors growing up & well, we’re like family!  I wish I had some digital photos from when we were kids to put up here, but it’s probably for the best that I don’t.  ;)   Needless to say, it was so special to watch her get married & I was so honored to be able to capture it for her!  Such a fun & unique wedding!

While lots of people were excited about watching the royal wedding on April 29th, I was heading to Jefferson City in my cowboy boots & sundress excited about romping around in a field with horses, cows & old/dead farming equipment – it was AWESOME!!  We started with Amy & Tom’s Reveal Shots in their front yard.  With horses on one side, rolling hills & cattle on the other it was a beautiful setting; suiting them perfectly.

How about those rings?!

I guess now would be a good time to mention that Tom wasn’t into the kissing pictures.  haha  But wow, he was such a great sport & I was still able to catch a  couple of quickies througout the day.  I just love how peaceful & excited Amy looks in these photos.

Amy’s horses just come right on over to her!! Aren’t they beautiful?!  Sure she had to coax them with some carrots a few times, but that can be our little secret.  She pretty much knew exactly where she wanted to do all of her photos…so we started with the horses, then headed down around the back to the big hay wheels & barn, made a quick stop by the Harrell mail box & then over to the open field where the cattle were grazing – who seemed to be getting closer & closer the longer we were out there.

Tom had the brilliant idea of bringing out the tiller for a few photos…adds a nice touch, don’t you think?  :)

And now comes the combine graveyard…not sure how often I’ll get this kind of backdrop for wedding photos.  haha

YAY!  more kisses & cool rings!

Are you having as much fun looking through these as I am?!  haha

Their ceremony was perfectly sweet & simple.  Very intimate, with only close family & friends.
Don’t they look so happy?!?!

Then we headed to the packed out reception to get the party started.
The grooms cake couldn’t be more perfect!!

& The bar-tenders were friends of the bride & groom – what good sports they were!
Perfect for the part!

Everything about this day just seemed to make sense…
& by that I mean, I couldn’t see Tom & Amy doing it any other way.

Thanks so much for inviting me to capture & share in your very special day Amy & Tom - it was perfect in every way!!  Love you!   :)
