Well, now here’s a family some of you St. Louis folks might recognize, if not, maybe you should watch some Cardinal’s baseball this season & figure it out.
So. This is the second family session I’ve done as a result of donating to a Charity Auction – this particular one was a Charity Golf Tournament through KnowledgeLake (the company I actually worked before I took on photography full time) for Our Little Haven right here in St. Louis. Somehow these sessions seem a little more freeing, b/c well, they’re a gift. For reals – this is essentially my gift to them for their gift to a charity I support, & it really does add a different kind of reward to doing my job. I love it!
Plus I got to meet an awesome family!
They reminded me of my big family (did you know I’m the 4th of 5 kids – except we have 4 girls & 1 boy). It’s very clear they are a tight-knit bunch & really enjoyed being together…
I love that too!
It just so happened to be a very cloudy, chilly & windy day we selected for these – I’d still say the timing was perfect. Plus, they were all troopers & I think we got some great shots too.
I probably could have played around a little longer with this big beautiful family – but the rain came with some more crazy wind so we literally RAN to the barn, took one last shot (the funky-fresh pic below), had a round of high-fives & headed our separate ways.
Thanks again Mike & Kristin, I had so much fun with y’all!
