Well, since things have been pretty crazy around here i haven’t had any time to post about all of it yet…Soooooooooooo, i figured i’d do a quicky post about what i did on Saturday. it was a super simple, no-fuss day that is still making me smile somehow.
i wore some adorable cupcake earrings from my sweet friend Linda Rose. aren’t they cute?! she got them from the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in KC just for ME! see what i mean? SWEET!!
i have lots of work to do, so i spent some time on it until about 3:30 in the afternoon…finished up a project & got a good start on the next one. i love finishing projects! it’s such a great feeling & actually pumps me up to do more! don’t you love the little DVD cases my momma makes for me to send my wedding DVDs in?! she’s pretty awesome like that. THANKS MOM!
for lunch i made myself one of my favorite snacks…yes, that’s peanut butter, bananas & a few delicious dark chocolate chips! yummmmm!
finally John Paul came to rescue me for the evening. he has a rockin bike & loves to ride off road on paths in the woods & such - really fun & manly.
i on the ther hand, don’t know when the last time was i rode a bike, so we decided it was time to change that. he picked up his mom’s bike for me (super cushy seat!) & we headed down to old town St. Charles for a nice chill ride on the Katy Trail. it was PERFECT! we figured it up & think it was about a 6 mile ride. not too shabby & wow, what a perfect afternoon for it too! sorry i didn’t take my phone on the ride, so this was the only pic i have. haha next time i will though, because it is a beautiful ride! the train tracks are covered with vines & trees are hangin low over the gravel road…i’m thinking about doing some shoots down there this fall too.
then of course we had to get some ice cream from Riverside Sweets & people watch from our bench. a well deserved treat after our hard workout. haha finished the day off with some bbq, beer & a good movie. this may not sound like much to you, but with the summer i have had, this was exactly what i needed! i love my sweetness…chilling with him is one of my favorite things to do.
THANKS BABE!
